Dr. Ya Xiong Named Finalist for the IROS 2026 Outstanding Associate Editor Award

We are pleased to share that Dr. Ya Xiong has been named a finalist for the IROS 2026 Outstanding Associate Editor Award.

The recognition honors Associate Editors who make outstanding contributions to the conference paper review process. According to the IROS 2026 Conference Paper Review Board, the finalists were selected following nominations by Editors and an evaluation by a committee chaired by Editor-in-Chief Eiichi Yoshida, with General Chair Howie Choset and Program Chair Ross Hatton serving as members.

As an Associate Editor, Dr. Xiong helped coordinate paper evaluations based on reviewers’ feedback. We appreciate this recognition of his service to a rigorous and fair review process and thank the reviewers, editors, and organizers whose work supports the robotics research community.
